 Established on 230 acres (93ha) of what was formerly  agricultural land, Taman Botani Putrajaya is within the  precincts of the nation's new Feferal Administrative  Centre, Putrajaya.

 Developed as the "City in the Garden", Putrajaya is a  pionering development that carefully combines modern  infrastructure and facilities with lush natural settings,  reflecting Malaysia's vision of a fast-developing urban  society that nurtures, appreciates and successfully  co- exists with nature.

 The gardens are open daily from 9am-7pm

 Admission to the gardens is free. Entry fee to the  Interactive Exhibition is RM2
