1. Petronas Twin Towers

The Petronas Twin Towers is located within the compound of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on Jalan Ampang. It was built by Cesar Pelli, an Argentine American Architect known for designing some of the tallest buildings in the world. The 88-storey Twin Tower stands majestically at 452 metres and have been acknowledged by the Urban Habitat as the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004.

2. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra is also known as Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP) which is Malaysia’s first built concert hall for classical music. Located at the PETRONAS Twin Towers, it was officially opened in on August 17 1988. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra has hosted many of the world’s most popular and leading artist such as Harry Connick Jr, the Count Basie Orchestra, Yellowjackets, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Pink Martini, Gotan Project and sitar virtuoso Anoushka Shankar as well as Malaysian artists Tan Sri SM Salim, Dato’ Sheila Majid, Dato’ M Nasir and Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza.

3. Petronas Art Gallery

The Petronas Art Gallery is a non-profit visual arts gallery founded in 1993 by Petronas, Malaysia’s national oil and gas company. The Art Gallery provides an avenue for young Malaysians as well as tourists to display their contemporary artwork to the public while promoting arts and culture. Located within in the compound of The Petronas Twin Towers and Suria KLCC Shopping Center, the art gallery is easily accessible to the public.

4. Aquaria KLCC

Aquaria KLCC is a oceanarioum that showcases animals and marine life from Malaysia and around the world. It was initiated, developed and is wholly-owned by Aquawalk Sdn Bhd, an MSC Status company incorporated in the year 2002. Aquaria KLCC is located in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, only within walking distance from the Petronas Twin Towers. It has 250 different species and 5,000 different exhibits of aquatic and land-bound creatures over a sprawling 60,000 square-foot space in the Concourse Level of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

5. Petrosains

Petrosains is a high-tech science discovery centre that aims to stimulate interest in petroleum science and technology. It also aims to enhance science literacy and instill in Malaysians a passion for acquiring scientific knowledge. Located in Petronas Twin Towers, it occupies the 4th and 5th level of Tower 1 and Tower 2 of the Twin Towers. Petrosains covers a total exhibition area of over 70,000 sqft.
